Children’s Meetings

But Jesus said, Allow the little children and do not prevent them from coming to Me, for of such is the kingdom of the heavens. -Matt 19:14

Overview

The goal of the church in Bellevue children’s work is that each child would come to know and appreciate Our Lord Jesus Christ by being saved and baptized by the end of 6th grade.

The curriculum used for this work begins with the toddler’s age who receive lessons on God’s Creation and the preschool/kindergarten age receiving lessons on Man in God’s Creation. For the school age children, every class has lessons on The Person and Life of the Lord Jesus Christ during the first half of the year. For the rest of the year the grade level classes have specific lessons as follows:

1st Grade – Human Relationships

2nd Grade – The Ten Commandments

3rd Grade – God’s Calling, Old Testament

4th Grade – God’s Calling, New Testament

5th Grade – The Ministry of the Lord Jesus –Jesus Meets All Man’s Needs

6th Grade – The Truth and Experience of Salvation

These classes are held on the Lord’s Day morning.

Parents, Babies, and Toddlers

We care for the children during the Sunday morning meeting, so that the parents can attend the meeting.

For the babies and toddlers, we provide babysitting service in a loving environment so the parents can enjoy the adult meetings.
